Professor Zoran Stajčić is Chief Surgeon at the Beograd-centar Dental/Medical Center for Maxillofacial Surgery.
Zoran joined VSS in a training capacity. He is a Fellow of and registered lecturer for the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Having qualified as a Doctor of Stomatology, he went on to attain an MSc and a PhD in the subject. In the first of many international appointments, he was a fellow at the Clinic of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Freiburg, Germany in 1987/88. From there he moved to Wels, Austria before becoming a Professor in maxillofacial surgery at Bristol Dental Hospital.
More recently he was Professor of Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Belgrade and University of Banja Luka, as well as being Professor of Oral Implantology at the Faculty of Medicine, Novi Sad.
Zoran has served on many Boards and Associations, both in his native Serbia and internationally. He is a fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and a member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, European Association for Osseo-integration and European Academy for Facial Plastic Surgery.
Zoran has lectured widely and published textbooks and articles on various aspects related to oral and maxillofacial surgery.
