Who are these courses designed for?

We run a selection of courses designed to ‘top up’ dentists and dental care professionals’ skills. If you would like to get in touch to find out more, we would love to hear from you.

Do these courses count towards my CPD?

Yes, certificates are issued on the completion of each course, all with verifiable CPD.

Will I be able to sit the RCS Edinburgh Diploma in Implant Dentistry exams?

Many course attendees go on to sit this exam. Our additional mentoring programme can enhance exam preparation according to individual needs.

How much extra work is involved outside of the weekend sessions?

This depends on the course. For the one-year certificate in implant dentistry, you will be given reading lists and some course work. The more you read around a subject though, the better prepared and confident you will be.

Can I book on more than one course?

Yes, of course! You might also like to know that discounts are available for multiple bookings made at the same time.

Can I have clinical support?

Yes! Our course tutors and Supervisors have a wealth of experience in implant dentistry and teaching, which makes them very knowledgeable mentors.

Do I need to invest in new equipment?

Not to start with as we can provide the equipment with our mentors. You will be advised on the most efficient way to set up for implant surgery and will have access to various implant and surgical kit deals through the course from sponsoring companies.

Will my overheads increase if I provide implant treatment?

No, on the contrary. We have set up our training and mentoring program to provide you with the most efficient way of progressing in this field of dentistry.

Will there be an examination?

Yes. Each course ends with an assessment, which will help to advise you on your readiness for mentoring or make recommendations for further training. You will also receive a certificate of completion with your verifiable CPD hours.
